She reads deeply
indiscriminately enjoying the words
For The pictures in her heads
She saw what he was reading and asked
why
Not knowing “ ask a business man”
Hear a regurgitated analysis
Not personal opinion
He said Plot plot plot
His best to date
Plot against America
Transposes the terrors of 1930 to
Todays Americas heartland
We are thirsty for things that are hidden
